-Full length story version of "No Name -Loki One-Shot"!-

Loki was alone, as he usually was, but in the rain, it wasn't so bad. He had just finished speaking with the leader of what would soon be his army and his head was foggy. Besides, the hide out was cramped and he needed an excuse to leave. The rain was enticing, and so here he was.

He was dressed in what he considered normal human clothes: a long sleeved polo, khaki pants, black shoes and a black trech coat. He could have used a spell to make himself invisible, but it was two in the morning. What human would be up at this hour?

The answer to his question came when he spotted a figure sitting alone on a bench in the park. They didn't seem like a threat, so he continued on his path. As he stepped closer, he could see that the figure was actually a young woman; no older than twenty, if he had to guess.

Her features became clearer as he continued walking. Her hair was blonde and fell down to her sides. It was partially held back by a blue ribbon that was the size of a kite. She was wearing a blue sweater that matched the ribbon, dark blue jeans and mock combat boots. She had a clear umbrella protecting her, and watched the rain fall from underneath it.

He carefully inched closer to her with no intention of speaking with her. He just wanted her to ignore him. However, as he got closer, her head whipped around to face him. His eyes met hers. They were a sort of gun metal gray shone in light of the street lamps. Her cheeks were pink with cold and she looked as though he had startled her.

After a moment of awkward stares, Loki spoke up.

"Good evening," he told her.

"Good morning," she corrected.

Loki nodded and smiled in a rather sarcastic way. He began to walk again, but was stopped by her small voice.

"Are you lost?"

"No, just…out for a walk."

He was becoming aggravated.

"You'll catch a cold that way."

Loki scoffed. Why in the world would he ever be worried about a little cold? What a silly little human. He could hardly wait until he could show these fools what he was capable of. But there was no use in causing a scene over one stupid girl.

"Would you care to join me?"

Loki was caught slightly off guard. He turned to face her with an odd look. Her cheeks had become pinker, as if she were blushing. Loki rolled his eyes at the thought. She lowered her eyes to the ground out of embarrassment, and he decided to humor her. As he sat, he could see her muscles stiffen.

"Do you have a lot on your mind?" she asked, trying to start a conversation. "I don't see any other reason to be out this late."

"I guess you could say that."

Loki kept close to silent as he listened to her speak, trying to make conversation with him. He would respond when he deemed it necessary, but really that was it. As he listened to her, he realized she spoke English well, though her German accent was still very thick. It was as though she studied the English language carefully, but rarely was able to practice.

They sat together for about an hour before her yawns got in the way of their conversation. Loki stood to go back to the hideout, but was stopped when she shoved something toward him. He blinked for a moment before realizing it was the handle of her umbrella.

She saw the confusion in his face and smiled.

"My home is close. Please take this."

"No. I really don't need it."

"You can return it to me, say, tomorrow at the same time?" she said as a coy smile formed on her lips. She tried to hide it, but it didn't work.

Before he could say anything else, she ran in the other direction. He watched as her blonde hair bobbed up and down. It was somewhat clever, but he rolled his eyes. How could she trust someone she had just met? He shook his head, but decided returning her umbrella wouldn't cause anyone any harm. There were still a few days until the banquet, and everyone could deal without him for a few moments.
So, I've turned my one-shot into a full length story! Hahaha I just grew fond of the two of them and felt like the end came up a bit quick...

I actually have the whole story hand written, but I just have to type it all ;) be on the lookout, because there's more to come very soon!
