Loki shook his head in disbelief. How could Thor have convinced him to come to Earth once again? All he ever did was chase women. It was embarrassing. Even still, Loki envied his self confidence.

The brothers had somehow ended up in Germany, most likely due to Loki's lack of teleportation skills. He was working on them, but was still fairly new to the idea as a whole. Before Thor ran off, he waved his hand to make sure Thor wouldn't be confused by the language. They were used to English-speaking countries, though they could adapt to any language quickly. But Thor's head could be thick at times and Loki didn't want him embarrassing himself more than usual.

Loki waved a hand and put himself in midgardian clothes: a black jacket over a long sleeved, dark green polo, dark jeans, and a stripped scarf. He took in a breath and smiled. Earth was certainly a beautiful place, escpecially in the fall. The air was cool and the leaves were a variety of oranges, reds, and yellows.

Soon Loki found himself in a park, and he smiled as he watched children playing with each other. It reminded him of when he and Thor were young. What caught his eyes, though, was a group of about six children playing a little too close to the small lake in the middle of the park. They were all boys, except for the smallest of the group; she was a little girl, no older than five. She was wearing short overalls over a grey t-sirt, white sneakers, and one of her front teeth was missing. If it weren't for the kite sized ribbon tying her blonde hair back, one might mistake her for a little boy. She looked as though she was trying to control the group. Loki chuckled to himself, remembering that when Sif was young, he almost mistook her for a boy as well.

But suddeenly, things took a turn for the worst. The little girl slipped into the lake and began to struggle. The children were in a panic. It didn't seem as though any of them could swim. The little girl could be heard hacking and coughing and Loki watched as she splashed around. His body was frozen, what should he do? The children ran off in terror, possibly afriad to watch her die. Loki couldn't believe his eyes, but upon looking around, he couldn't see anyone else that was paying attention. He knew he had to do something.

Without much more thought, Loki ran toward the lake, removing his jacket and scarf in the process. He dove into the murky water and caught the girl by the wrist as she started to sink. When he brought her to shore, she wasn't breathing. Loki panted and smoothed his dark hair back so it would be out of his face while he desperatly searched his mind for what to do. He placed his hands over the girl. Careful to make sure no one was watching, he used a spell to evaporate the water from her small lungs. She still wasn't breathing.

Loki began to panic. What was he to do? He remembered reading on a poster in a misgardian library about CPR, but he couldn't recall it entirely, but he had to try anything. He carefully pressed his hands against her chest repeatedly. When it didn't seem like it was going to work, the little girl began to cough. Loki let out a breath, unaware that he was holding it.

"Are you alright, little one?" he asked, his green eyes full of worry.

The little blonde nodded and sat up. She sneezed and began to shiver. Loki picked up his jacket and wrapped it around her. The poor thing was soaked.

"There, there, let's get you warmed up."

Loki took the little girl to a cafe that was close by. It was small and warm, and she looked more comfortable almost instantly. Loki told her to sit in a chair while he bought her a hot cocoa. When he came back and handed it to her, she blushed. Her grey eyes sparkled as she glanced up at his emerald ones.

"Go on, you won't warm up if you don't drink it."

She took a sip and he smiled at her, causing her to blush and hide part of her face in his jacket.

"Thank you," she said. Her words were muffled by the material.

After she warmed up, Loki figured her family would be missing her. He brought her back to the park and let her play while they waited. He kept a close eye on her and didn't let her go near the lake again. He smiled as she went down the slide saying, "Watch me!"

After a while, her two older brothers came looking for her. They looked to be 12 and 13 and when they came into her view, she dashed toward them, nearly tackling the younger one.

She ran back to Loki to give his jacket back.

"Thank you for everything," she said with a little too much maturity for her age. Loki smiled and patted her on the head. She gave him a sweet smile as her cheeks turned pink.

Her brothers called and she ran to them, taking both their hands and chatting their ears off. They didn't seem to mind it, though. Loki watched them leave, wanting to make sure she was still safe. When they were out of his sight range, he stood from the bench and stretched. It was time to go look for his own sibling.
Awful title is awful...

BUT! To make up for my last little one shot, I made this one =)

I really like this couple, but I decided to shake it up a little bit =P Hope you guys like reading it as much as I liked writing it! =)

PS: Can you spot all the references to "No Name"? XD

PSS: This is supposed to take place when Loki was still tricky, but sweet
